Escort Service - At a number of points, mainly by Entrances, you will find a desk manned by our volunteers, who will aid you in finding where you are bound and if needed escort you to your destination.We offer a number of volunteer opportunities:
A Patient Library Service - Monday afternoons
A Visitors Service - Lunchtimes, afternoons, supper time and weekends, - Daily (This scheme is new and we are particularly looking for volunteers to give just 2 hours a week or every two weeks to help work with the nurses on this vital service.)
Fund Raising - We participate in a number of fund raising activities from tin shaking, to running stalls, raffles, tombola's, and our largest event being our annual hospital Summer Fete.

We are now also working together with local companies, to ask for their support in fund raising and one of the positive effects of this partnership is the increased awareness of our group's work within the community.

All our volunteers do what they can, when they can. We realise that many people have busy lives.
